Antidumping: A Public Interest not So much in the Public Interest

ABSTRACT: As it often happens in a modern society, the technical complexity of antidumping regulation has reached incredible peaks, yet it did not reduce to an acceptable extent the surrounding uncertainty. We claim that going back to the origin, reintroducing the natural goal of antidumping regulations, would simplify every step of the procedure, would greatly reduce the discretion of the authorities and especially would make the whole process extremely more transparent.
