He was a standing director of Society of Chinese International Economic Law.

He also worked as the Executive Director of the Center of Oversea Investment Law of Wuhan University (COIL) and Deputy Chief Editor of International Law Review of Wuhan University.

He was appointed as one of the Experts (The First Batch) for Maritime and Commercial trials of the Supreme People’s Court of China.

In 2015, he was also appointed as a part-time guest expert worked in the Forth Civil Division of the Supreme People’s Court of China.
