Introduction

In a previous article,[1] we established a justification for intellectual property rights (IPRs) being based on the public authorship model, a view which accords with Islamic rules. It was shown here that significant outcomes were concluded on the basis of the Islamic justification of IPRs, especially in relation to the legislative harmonization and enforcement of IPRs.
