The International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) is the world’s largest and most experienced international organization dedicated to investment dispute resolution. It was established in 1966 by a multilateral treaty, the 1965 Convention on the Settlement of Investment Disputes between States and Nationals of other States (ICSID Convention). ICSID has today 154 Contracting States and 8 further signatory States. Mexico became ICSID’s latest full member in August 2018.
