Overview of the Cases in the WTO Dispute Settlement System in 2023

The case note provides an overview of the panel reports circulated to the parties in the dispute settlement system of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) in 2023. The note presents an account of the panels’ findings and interpretations in cases concerning safeguards, anti-dumping duties as well as on the treatment afforded to products in the information and communication technology sector as per Schedules of Concessions. The note also offers an account of the disputes whose panels have been established and composed, and those that are currently in consultations. The note concludes with some final remarks.
