The book presents a unique theme, which due to the scarcity of sources, only few have dared to touch. The author has done a stupendously impressive job in gathering the resources and presenting not only a true account of the “Legal Order” followed by ISIS, in its short lifespan, but also exposed the organization from its core as far as its claim of adhering to erudite Islamic principles is concerned. The author tried to make sure the reader understands few basic Islamic principles before delving into the legal regime of ISIS, which pretends to be Islamic but faulters seriously in this claim (pp. 22-34).
