From the Editorial Desk
The Journal of the Philosophy of International Law (JPIL) has been in a slight hiatus since Volume 3. As the Incoming Editor-in–Chief, I wish to flag that JPIL is back as a mainstream intellectual platform. The Journal remains committed to scholastic and intellectual exposition with cross-disciplinary works as its pivot. In 2012, a new Editorial Board came on stream along with a stellar cast Advisory Board. As this Issue goes to print, I quickly reflect that in a very few short years the world of publishing has changed. Open access is now a mainstream pillar. JPIL is at the forefront of this with its re-launch as an open access Journal.
