Overview of Cases in the Dispute Settlement System of the WTO, 2020

 

The present case note provides a brief account of the trade disputes decided in the Dispute Settlement System (DSS) of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) in 2020. The note highlights interpretations from the Appellate Body (AB), interpretations arising from its final decisions after becoming inoperable last December. This note also provides an account of the panels’ findings and interpretations, as well as of cases under consultation, or whose panels are composed or established. The case note concludes with some final remarks.
