Overview of the WTO DSM Cases in 2017

ABSTRACT: The present case note provides an account of the disputes decided under the Dispute Settlement System of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) in 2017. In this regard, this overview highlights interpretations issued by both the Appellate Body (AB) and the panels, who have clarified a number of WTO provisions. The note also outlines those cases that have been lodged to the Dispute Settlement Mechanism, in addition to those whose panels have already been composed. The overview concludes with some final remarks.
