Guidance for Contributors

  • The Journal welcomes submission of articles and reviews for consideration with a view to publication.  
  • The normal word length for article contributions is between 4000-8,000 words. However longer contributions will be considered.
  • Submissions should include a short abstract at the beginning of the work.
  • Please provide a note briefing about the author(s)'s professional or academic status.
  • The Journal would like to accept articles in consistent Word format.
  • All the submissions should be submitted in final form.
  • Please pay special attention to referencing. The article should be presented with footnotes, not end notes.(Guidance for footnotes are given below).
  • Please make sure that the contribution has not been submitted elsewhere whilst being considered by the MJIEL.
  • Authors of accepted contributions to the MJIEL would need to sign a copy-right transfer form.
  • Contributors will receive an electronic complimentary copy of their published contribution.
  • Hard-copies of the journal can be  purchased directly from the printers.
